The CHILDREN HELPING CHILDREN (CHC) initiative was established in 2001 to disseminate information to schools and educational institutions throughout the United States and other established countries. We seek to assist impoverished children around the world through the generosity of contributors, primarily children sponsoring other children.
Our primary purpose is to enhance human dignity and raise the physical and educational standards of living for all children to achieve health, happiness and a meaningful existence here on earth.
Our secondary purpose is to break the barriers of prejudice and to build a tolerant and compassionate network intrinsically established in future generations, the new leaders of this world, our children today.

How It Works

Children Helping Children provides an opportunity for children to sponsor disadvantaged children at a local, national or international level.
To get started follow these steps:

          1. Youth in schools, churches, and other community groups are invited to
participate in projects to improve life for children in need.

          2. With the assistance of a classroom teacher, group leader or other
facilitator*, youth will be introduced to the idea of sponsorship and
encouraged to research various Charitable Organizatons.

          3. They accept the challenge.

          4. Youth generate ideas for fund-raising and create an action plan to:
Participate in a charity that sponsors a child or
Make a one-time gift to a charitable organization or project of their choice in
               donations, services or goods.

*CHC provides an outreach coordinator/facilitator to work with youths, educators/youth leaders, and other stake holders. The facilitator provides an intial presentation on the implentation of CHC projects, as well as assisting with ongoing support for participants.

CHC is sole supported and receives no financial remuneration from any of the charities listed on this website.
